Mosaic

It may seem strange, but sometimes life reminds me of a mosaic picture. Or rather the process of making this picture. Every person has his or her own approach to creating a mosaic pattern. Some people do it casually while others do it with great care. Some people prefer pieces of coloured glass while others use only black and white ones. As a result, we get a unique pattern with a clear or sometimes vague meaning that only we can understand. Occasionally, those who look at the picture and try to understand it also see the meaning. And these patterns are never complete… After all, life moves on, so we all go through new situations, meet new people, feel new emotions, learn new lessons and gain new experiences…
Sometimes we get tired of a familiar pattern… And in such moments new pieces of glass may appear in our lives. Some people don’t want to fit them into the pattern, so they put them aside waiting for an appropriate moment. But maybe it makes sense to start making a new pattern right now?

Странно, но иногда жизнь мне напоминает мозаику. Вернее ее собирание. У каждого свой подход к выкладыванию этого мозаичного узора: кто-то делает это небрежено, кто-то заботливо, одни предпочитают цветные стеклышки, другие лишь чёрные и белые. В результате, получается неповторимый узор, наделенный понятным или слегка улавливаемым смыслом, доступным только нам, а иногда и тем, кто смотрит на нашу мозаику и старается понять ее и нас. Узоры никогда не завершены… Ведь жизнь не стоит на месте: каждый из нас переживает новые события, встречает новых людей, испытывает новые эмоции, проходит новые уроки, получает новый опыт…

Иногда привычный узор приедается… В такие моменты могут появиться новые стеклышки. Но кто-то совсем не хочет укладывать их в мозаику, откладывает в сторону и ждет подходящего момента. Но, может, стоит начать выкладывать новый узор прямо сейчас?
